October 31st: Work: Finding it & Going for it!

Let's discuss:
networking, websites, resumes - bring in yours in to be tweaked,
updating yourself on IMDB, interviewing: procedures / experiences,
negotiating a deal: prep, kit fees, & deal memos.
 
1-3pm at 440 Studios, Room 4G

September 19th: Pre- Pro
Breakdowns, production meetings, script timings, table reads, attending rehearsals, getting a meeting w/ the director etc.
Lets compare our different experiences in Features vs TV vs Commercials.

May 2nd: Unusual Breakdowns for Complex Scripts with Mary Cybulski
Mary has worked on films such as The Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Synecdoche, NY, The Ice Storm, Taking Woodstock, to name just a few. She says: "Every movie has its particular thing that you just know will cause you trouble. How do you wrap your mind around those situations and design a system to help you express and track those problem threads?"

March 28th: Tax & Production Accountant Anne Johnson 
Tax season is coming! Are you making all the tax deductions you can as a freelancer? What about unemployment? Filling out start paperwork? timecards? W-2's &1099's?
You work hard for that money! Sometimes 16 hours a day! In the cold & rain! Anne will speak to us, and answer your questions.

3-5pm (note time change!) at 440 Studios, Room 4D
