Sept 10th: YOU'RE NEXT premiering at TIFF Midnight Madness
Script Supervised by Jason Foulke

"You're Next" might be one of the most fun sets I've ever worked on. A great cast and crew with not a single bad egg. It was an entire month of night shooting in Missouri mostly in one location with the majority of the film taking place over one night (so super fun continuity). There's a dinner table scene involving 10 speaking characters, over 6 pages of script, effects, and on top of that the actors improvised from take to take. We wound up with 9 hours of footage for that one scene which took about 2 1/2 days of non-consecutive shooting."

Aug 23rd: BEWARE THE GONZO is released on VOD
Script Supervised by Andrea Ulrich

"One of the best movies I've had the opportunity to be a part of. Incredibly talented cast lead by Ezra Miller, who is just amazing and is going to be a big star."

July 25th: Venice Film Festival partial line up announced.
So far:
DARK HORSE, Script Supervised by Andrea Ulrich

July 22nd: A LITTLE HELP opens in theaters
Script Supervised by Jodi Domanic-Riccio

Jul 15th: SALVATION BOULEVARD opens in theaters
Script Supervised by Andrew Cesana

Andrew shares with us:
"Salvation Boulevard was one of my favorite experiences script supervising. Between the great story, easy going cast, fun crew and organized production team we all got along and laughed throughout the day making something fun that we believed in. Michigan was a beautiful place to shoot in the Fall season. Outside a few legal issues involving main character name changes that came about during the shoot (thanks legal, could have figured that stuff out in pre-pro). It's going to be tough to beat that experience on any film here on out and i can only hope that we all do another project together soon! I hope the final product turns out as good as the experience of shooting it!"

April 8th: HENRY'S CRIME and CEREMONY opens in theaters

Jan 25th: Oscar nominations were just announced!
Kudos to network members' films - BLUE VALENTINE, BLACK SWAN, RABBIT HOLE AND WINTER'S BONE! Not a bad showing for New York films and New York filmmakers!

Here is an insight into RABBIT HOLE
Script Supervised by Diane Hounsell

"Rabbit Hole was a pleasure to work on, and the whole crew knew it would be something special. Becca & Howie's house, and the quiet community, became our home away from home, and there was always a respectful calm for the actors. JCM sets that tone. He is an actor's director & is a master of balancing sensitivity and humor. There were definitely moments at the monitor when I had tears in my eyes (like the "brick in your pocket" scene). I developed a greater appreciation for what a truly fine actress Nicole is, watching her process from take to take. JCM also brought out a wonderful performance from Miles Teller, whose first film this was."

Jan 16th: Golden Globes are tonight!
Productions that our network members have been involved in include BLUE VALENTINE, BLACK SWAN, RABBIT HOLE, WINTER'S BONE AND THE GOOD WIFE.

Here is an insight into BLUE VALENTINE
Script Supervised by Tony Osso

"I knew going into Blue Valentine that director Derek Cianfrance wanted to create an intimate, quiet space for the actors that felt nothing like a typical film set. When we met, he said that he hated the idea of a swarm of people invading the set after each take, that he admired Cassavetes, and that he liked continuity errors. LIKED them. So I decided that I would figure out a way to do the job invisibly. I made a conscious effort to re-think my processes and approach, and to make Derek feel like he was realizing his vision unencumbered, while maintaining continuity and delivering the best notes and footage possible to the editor.

I spoke to Derek about continuity issues very rarely, spoke to the actors secretly, off set, in hushed tones, when necessary, and enlisted my friends, AD Mariela Comitini and DP Andrij Parekh, to sometimes address or express a concern. When I asked Derek if the falling-in-love section was set six years ago and the falling-out-of-love was the present, he said, 'Maybe they're happening at the same time. Maybe they're both the future.' This film was made like no other that I've worked on, and I'm very proud to have been a part of it."
