MEETINGS 2014 - 2015
December 06, 2015
11-1:30pm @ Simple Studios
Knowing your rights as a working Script Supervisor
This meeting will be of particular interest for 161 members and script supervisors hoping to work in the union world in the future.
Do you know your union contracts? When filling out your time card, do you find yourself wondering if you are putting in for everything you are entitled to? When negotiating a deal, do you wish you had more information about how other script supervisors have been successful in the past? Given the status of being a one-person department, these issues affect script supervisors distinctly.
Veteran script supervisors Deirdre Horgan and Mary Kelly will be leading this meeting with the hope that sharing information and history about past practices will provide insight and new ideas to reach a stronger level of brotherhood and consistency within our unique community, particularly in the current frenzy of production in New York.
